Instructions from the President to provide compensation for houses damaged by bad weather
June 21, 2024Senior Advisor to the President on National Security and Chief of Staff to the President Sagala Ratnayaka, announced that President Ranil Wickremesinghe has directed take the necessary measures to either rebuild or provide compensation, subject to a maximum limit, for houses that were completely damaged by the recent adverse weather conditions.

Jaishankar led bilateral discussions at the President’s House yesterday (20). The joint energy projects between India and Sri Lanka took centre stage during these discussions.
Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, commenced his official visit to Sri Lanka with a significant meeting with President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the President House in Colombo this morning (20).
