The International  Mathematical Olympiad 2014 will be held in South Korea from 21st to 27th July.   15 students from Sri Lanka will participate in this competition.  Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Education presented the air tickets to these students at the Ministry of Education.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has broadened the scope of the mandate of the Presidential Commission to Investigate into Complaints Regarding Missing Persons and appointed a three-member international panel of experts to advise the Commission.
