President Maithripala Sirisena has welcomed constructive criticism against the government during it's forward march.

The Government has undertaken the important task of ensuring the rule of law in the country and peace and harmony among different communities by appointing Ministers for Religious Affairs who believe in their particular religion, Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith said.

Minister of Education  Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said that the amount allocated in the budget for Education Sector is inadequate and as such measures will be taken to increase the Budgetary allocation for education gradually to reach 6 percent of the GDP.
