The Sri Lanka Fisheries Corporation will buy fish from the fishermen on a certified price under the direction of the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.  This scheme will be operative under the guidance of Actg. Minister for Fisheries, Aquatic Resources Development Sarath Kumara Gunarathna.

Four hundred and Sixty Eight male and female workers who had been employed by the National Housing Development Authority  on contract, casual and daily paid bases for more than 180 days will be given permanent appointments by the Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Public Utilities Wimal Weerawansa today (04) at 3.30 pm. at the Pradeepa Hall in Maligawatte.
