President Maithripala Sirisena made an observation tour to Navy Camp, Trincomalee yesterday (Aug. 23). He was warmly welcomed by the Navy Officers. The President undertook a short tour in a Dvora of the Navy.
The President who went to the Museum observed the sea planes and weapons captivated by the Navy from the LTTE. He also had cordial discussions with the families of the residents of the navy camp.
Governor of the Eastern Province Austin Fernando, Mr. Daya Gamage and Mr. Asath Sally also participated in this occasion.
